 Whole Notes Coffee Co. / Logo + Packaging Design

 

A local small-batch coffee roaster desired a logo and branded materials to promote and display his brand where he sells bags and cups of coffee at a Chicago farmer’s market. His brand name an ode to his loves of coffee and music, elements of life which are deep sources of connection between humans. The visual direction is trendy and artistic, expressing the harmonious yet distinct notes in roasted coffee beans.

 
 

Business Cards

Mindful of the need for the small business’ low print costs, we created a black and white version of the logo for this business card design. The monochromatic scheme readily conveys the blended aesthetic of the original logo in a fresh way. The dotted-style QR code is both legible and artistic, resembling the materials (coffee beans) used in the roaster’s creative process.

 

Packaging Design / Farmer’s Market Cups

The carry out cups feature the brand colors and a wave pattern reminiscent of a music staff, solidifying the brand connection between music and coffee.
